Location and Directions
McGregor Hall Performing Arts Center is located at 201 Breckenridge Street in historic downtown Henderson, the hub of North Carolina’s Vance County. With the Virginia state line and Kerr Lake to the north and the bustling Triangle cities of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill to the south, Henderson has a prime location within central North Carolina. Both U.S. Interstate 85 and U.S. Highway 1 travel through Henderson, allowing for easy access from cities such as Durham and Raleigh, both of which are less than an hour away. Parking
Parking is easy and FREE! We have two lots on the West side of the building with ample spaces and there are more spots along Breckenridge Street. Additionally, there are ample spots along the well-lit streets surrounding the area. The Breckenridge Street traffic circle located at the front entrance of McGregor Hall allows for easy passenger drop-off and pick-up.
Directions from I-85
Coming from either the North or South, take I-85 exit 214 for NC-39 South/Andrews Avenue. Go East on Andrews Avenue (turn right if coming from the South, left if coming from the North) for 0.8 miles and turn right at the light for Chestnut Street. Go 0.3 miles and you will see Breckenridge Street and McGregor Hall on the left, next to Perry Memorial Library.
Directions from US-1
Coming from either the North or South on US-1, take the NC-39 North/Andrews Avenue exit. Go West on Andrews Avenue (turn left if coming from the South, right if coming from the North) for 1.1 mile. Turn left at the light for Garnett Street, immediately after crossing the train tracks. Go South on Garnett Street for 0.3 miles and turn right at the light for Breckenridge Street. McGregor Hall will be one block ahead on the left.
