DADDY’S BOYS: Broken Promises

Garrett Davis’ Newest Stage Play

SATURDAY  ·  JANUARY 13, 2018  ·  8pm

This brand-new stage play by Garrett Davis delves into the role of men as fathers, a subject that strikes to the hearts of many. Daddy’s Boys: Broken Promises takes audience members on an emotional journey that stresses the importance of fathering.

This is the newest stage production from Garrett Davis, the creator of the award-winning urban theatrical productions Mama’s Girls and Forget Me Not that showcase how we view minority health.

Invite someone special to join you for this performance and share the message on why fathers should be in the lives of their sons. In the play, the character Jessie known as Pops (Chris Ross) wasn’t always there for his three sons; however, when he’s faced with the last days of his life, he comes to realize he needs to do more to be a better parent while he still has time.

The three sons include Jr. (Kenneth Pierce, Sr.), Punkin (Devonte Wells) and Charles (Dartez Wright). Each role will entertain you with humor, singing and an honest message that’s especially fit for young men, fathers and mothers.
