See the best talent the Kerr Lake area has to offer in this showcase of "Apollo Theater Bound" talent! The show will feature a professional band, local talent from the surrounding area, as well as the classic “Sandman,” who will be hosting. Winners are chosen by audience participation.

On the Road to New York's Apollo Theater is a traveling, talent-show-based competition that provides an all-expense paid opportunity for the winner(s) to audition at the Apollo Theater in New York City on September 23. There are two divisions - adult and children. A winner will be chosen from each division to go on to the Open Call Auditions in NYC.

On The Road has taken 34 acts to the Apollo theater to audition in the past, and 30 of those have been chosen to appear on the show.
