The Henderson Rec players will present their 2016 summer show Fiddler on the Roof this Thursday through Saturday, July 7th - 9th.

Winner of nine Tony Awards, the musical Fiddler On The Roof has touched audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty.

The story centers around a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, the father tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing society.

Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler On The Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

Featuring local talent and production staff, performances will be staged all three nights at 8 p.m. along with an afternoon showing on Saturday at 2 p.m.
